Introduction:

Bheemili Beach: The driving road from Vizag to Bheemili is very beautiful. Bheemili Beach holds historical significance as remains from the Dutch and British eras can be found here.

Kailasagiri: This is a beautiful hilltop park located in the central part of the city. From here, one can get a panoramic view of the Bay of Bengal and the city of Visakhapatnam. The main identity of Kailasagiri is the huge white statues of Lord Shiva and Parvati situated here. Cable car facilities are also available.
Araku Valley: Located about 120 kilometers from Vizag, Araku Valley is a delightful hill station. It is famous for its coffee plantations, charming flora, and tribal culture. The Borra Caves are located here, which are thousands of years old and famous for their stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Dolphin’s Nose: This is a massive rock that projects into the sea and looks like a dolphin's nose. It houses a powerful lighthouse operated by the Indian Navy, which guides ships.

INS Kursura Submarine Museum: This is Asia’s first and India’s second submarine museum, located on RK Beach. The retired INS Kursura submarine has been kept here for information, and visitors can go inside to see the life within a submarine up close.
Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, Simhachalam Temple: This temple is dedicated to the Narasimha avatar of Lord Vishnu. It is known for its unique architectural style and historical significance. It is situated on a hill.

By Air: Connected to major cities of the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata via direct flights through Visakhapatnam International Airport (VTZ). The airport is located about 12 kilometers from the city center.
By Rail: Visakhapatnam Junction (VSKP) is connected to almost every major city and state in the country via a network of express and superfast trains.
By Road: National Highway 16 (NH 16), which is a part of the East Coast Highway, connects Visakhapatnam with major cities like Chennai and Kolkata. State transport (APSRTC) and private bus services are frequently available from nearby and distant cities.
