Arjuna's Penance Site
Arjuna's Penance site is a famous place in Mahabalipuram. This place is a favorite place for students studying architecture. The way the stone carvings are done here is amazing, which is why tourists especially come to see this place. It is believed that this artifact was created by the Pallava people. To reach Mahabalipuram, you have to go to Chennai. You can reach Chennai by flight or train and from there you can reach Mahabalipuram by road. If you want to go by train, go to Chengalpattu Railway Station. From here, Mamallapuram is only 29 km away, from where you can easily reach Mahabalipuram.
